Where is a good place to buy a replacement JPI EGT probe? It looks like
JPI wants $300 directly, is there a better outlet?

So in addition to the other 4786 reasons not to buy JPI their
replacement probes cost 300 clams? That can't be right. My EI probes
cost $60 each.

I was wrong. The JPI probe is $61 from JPI. I have to say that one bad
probe in 5 years isn't bad. Plus I love the FF integration.

Too bad you have JPI. I had one go bad in our EI analyzer and they sent
me one for free.... I just called them up and they dropped one in the
mail. Now that is service!! :-)

There are two probe types available for EGT use and they aren't
manufacturer specific.
Most are 'K' type.
Find a good used probe and install it.
If you got to have new, give most of the typical suppliers like Spruce
and Chief a call and they can fix you up.
No need to buy from JPI, they all do the same thing.
Cheers
