Does anyone have any experience with the Kelly oil filters? Like most
other folks, I've been using the Champions, but the recent introduction
of the Kelly filters looks interesting.

I've used them off and on. Now that Spruce appears to only carry the Champion
CH48110-1 (the smaller "equivalent" of the CH48110), I use the Kellys. They're larger
than the new Champions, and catch no engine metal in my engine just like the
Champions... :) They have a tougher (and larger IIRC) nut for removing. Much less
likely to distort and tear off than the Champion's nut.
Oh, and they're cheaper too!

Thanks. I assumed that they were quality products without the Champion
surcharge. I switched to Autolite spark plugs about 50 hours ago, and
so far, they have a much better track record in my airplane than the two
sets of Champions I used in the past. And the Autolites are cheaper.
