Hi All!

Our "new" Warrior has those "Hydraulic" seat height adjusters.

We would like to service them, as they only hold in the
bottom half of their range, won't hold the seat up to the top of the
height travel...

Anyone know what service/ fluid/adjustment/parts are needed?

Both exhibit the same symptoms... exactly....

Dave

Dave,

Chuck Koch does a great job of overhauling these seat lift
cylinders.

See www.avfab.com

They will turn them round quickly and the cost is affordable.
Chuck did those off our Archer II

Hey Dave -- post this over on "Cherokee Chat" and you will get a dozen great
responses.

You *are* a member of the Cherokee Pilots Association, right? If not, it's
the best single source of Cherokee info on the planet...

These things are acting like they are low on fluid...

How do we get the fluid in?... and what do we use?

Seem in great shape otherwise...

Good. The Cherokee Chat is worth the price of joining right there . The
magazine is pretty crude, but has a lot of good info.

I don't think they have fluid -- they're just a big spring/piston unit.
There was a guy at the CPA Fly-In last weekend (held annually at Tan-Tar-A
resort in Osage Beach, MO. It's scheduled for June 2006 -- mark your
calendar!) that overhauls these units. Once you're on the Chat, post your
question, and you'll know who doe it within minutes.
