Any good online sources for the most likely routing you will get from ATC?
All of the online flight planning sources I've found seem to only use the
most direct via airways when selected vs the Preferred or TEC routing you
almost always wind up getting.

Heh.

Well, preferred routing and TEC routing are both listed in the back
of the AF/D. I had an online link for it too, but can't find it (had
a harddrive fail and lost a little bit of stuff), perhaps someone
will oblige.

The "heh" is because in our experience the "preferred routes" listed
in the AF/D may have no relationship to the preferred routes which
ATC is actually using. Or, the routing may be dramatically different
depending upon your specific altitude.

Good luck and let us know if you find the ATC Routing Secret Decoder
Ring.

Cheers,

That is an interesting experience. My experience with TEC, both on the
east coast as well as the west coast is you will get EXACTLY what the
TEC route in the AFD describes. I would be interested in knowing what
part of the country you operate out of?
