View Full Version : Garrett APU GTCP 85
I'm looking for phtos or diagrams, cut away or any of the Garrett APU
GTCP 85. This is the one in use on the CL65 (CRJ-200).
I searched the internet and didn't come up with much.
Thanks

I am developing some training for the CL65 and want to include
information on the APU. I thought a cut-away or a diagram would add
some intetest.
Does my request concern you? I wonder why you ask for an
explaination.

Yes it does. Was vague. I have been to advanced training on that APU. I
have what you want but want to know why you want it. It is currently
packed as I am moving soon. I will see what I can find.
Who do you work for ?
Michelle
There is no need to go to a lot of trouble for this request; I am not
planning on teaching a course on this APU but merely wanted a photo,
or diagram that gives an idea of the compents. details are not
necesary. this is the one on the CL65 right?
If your material is packed, please don't unpack and spend time on
this; I thought maybe someone had it handy and al ready scanned. Is
there a webpage that might have what I want?
I am a pilot on the crj-200 for Airways express.
Thank you.

Did you ask these guys where they got their animation?
http://www.brittmetal.com/GTCP85.htm
(Sort of a dumb question, since they're the first site that pops up on
Google when you enter GTCP 85, but the animation doesn't come up on an
"images" search, just on a general Web search, and I thought maybe you
only looked for images.)
I did a copy and paste on the animation, and the resolution stinks,
but they must have got it from some training tool of Garrett's, so
it's a lead.
Don
Yes, i found that page and the resulution is not the best, i did use
it, i was hoping for something a bit better.
thank you for your efforts on this.

Michelle:
I am working on a training project for the CRJ-200 and since you had
some informatin on the APU I am hoping you have information on the
engines, the GE CF 34-3B1. I don't need a description, I have all
that I need, but I do need is diagrams and photos. a cutaway drawing
would be perfect. so i can show the bypass and core air. please use
this email:
I know this is asking a lot and all i can say is that i appreciate
what you can share with me, thank you. Oh, the project is a
powerpoint presentation.
thank you
