I am looking for thoughts on panel-mount HF radios that are not Dzus-rail
mounted and that work on 12 Volt.



What is out there?

Where should I shop?

Which units/manufacturer should I rather avoid?

Who has made good/bad experience and what are they?

Which antenna should I go for and where should it be permanently mounted on
a C180 kind of aircraft?
