Would anyone be so kind as to email me Buttonville Ontario approach plates? If
fax is easier I have a toll free fax number - email me and I'll give you the
details

TIA

While technically it's illegal to share those pages (Canadian plates
are copyright protected), I wonder about how wise it is to grab
individual plates for a single destination. If generally one expects
sufficiently good weather that one won't need plates for nearby
alternate airports, then why worry about the plate in the first place?

Single charts are useful for reviewing the procedures well in advance of
the trip. I agree that one would need several charts for the actual trip.

Also, an alternate should not be a nearby airport but at easonable
distance away where the weather is likely to be very different. The only
time when you want a neighboring airport to be your alternate is if your
destination only has a nonprecision approach and your alternate has a
precision approach.

Because if I can't get into Buttonville I'll go to Buffalo or Port Huron so I
don't have the customs hassle and I have plates for those

When flying across the border, I often use airports on the side I'm coming
from as an alternate because customs gets very antsy if you land somewhere
other than where you said you were going to. Fortunately I've never had
to divert, but once I was going to Oshawa Ontario when ATC told me that
I was going to arrive after curfew (at the time they didn't allow arrivals
after 10pm). I asked if I could divert to Buttonville, and they said
customs wouldn't let me (I guess because of the short notice) so I just
went home and went the next morning.

Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with your Microsoft product.
