View Full Version : Garmin G1000 ASA/King?

Has anyone compared the training discs from ASA and King? Recommendations? I
am going to check out in a C182T/G1000 and may want to buy one of these. (I
have seen the Sporty's disc -- it is tourist stuff.)

I've never seen a piece of software from ASA that functioned well enough
to teach anything. Their books are great, but their online stuff is
the biggest waste of money I've ever spent in aviation.

I have tried both ASA and King. The King is by far superior. I now have
about 25 hours with the G1000. I love it.
