Here's a great list of aircraft salvage yards in the United States:

Well, the very first link, "Airparts, in Anchorage, Alaska" went out of
business several years ago. Jay, parhaps you could pass that info along
to the website owner?

Wentworth Aircraft Inc

Mapquest for Wentworth Aircraft (S. Mpls)

It's not the best neighborhood (....understatement!)

Mapquest ...We lived here from 1993-1998
14th and Portland / Portland and E. Grant St.
Tallest building (IDS) was 7 blocks away on 8th St and Marquette.

Downtown Mpls was laid out on the bend in the Mississippi River, instead of
in N/S grids. The (modern) N/S grid started on our block. One side of our
building was on 11th St (E. Grant St), the other side of our building was on
14th St.

Don't get me started on how they laid out the streets in St Paul. <g>

Not to mention most expensive by a considerable margin.

You can often get what you need from one of the dozens of smaller
salvage operations for a fraction of the cost of a part from Wentworth.
The smaller yards also often have parts that Wentworth doesn't have.
Not sure why that is, perhaps Wentworth scraps the stuff that doesn't
have a fast turn around or high dollar value.
