View Full Version : Poll: Is your country deploying Mode-S ?

The Netherlands has decided to no longer postpone Mode-S introduction.
Starting March 2007, all IFR flights must be Mode-S transponder equipped,
and in March 2008 this becomes mandatory for VFR as well. This includes
flights coming in from foreign countries.

I'm curious as I hear that most other countries are nowhere near
introduction of Mode-S and may even cancel it entirely. What's the situation
in your country?

Hmm.. Is a transponder only required on homebuilts in The Netherlands??
