The Netherlands has decided to no longer postpone Mode-S introduction.
Starting March 2007, all IFR flights must be Mode-S transponder equipped, and in March 2008 this becomes mandatory for VFR as well. This includes flights coming in from foreign countries. I'm curious as I hear that most other countries are nowhere near introduction of Mode-S and may even cancel it entirely. What's the situation in your country? Rob |
