The Morris Aero Club, established in 1966, currently has a limited
number of memberships available. Based at Morristown, NJ (KMMU), the
club has a Cessna 172M Skyhawk and a Cessna 177B Cardinal available
for
members use. Both aircraft are equipped for IFR flight.
Membership requires a one-time payment of $1000 to cover the
initiation
fee and an equity stake in the aircraft. Monthly dues are $60, and
flying time (wet) is currently $80/hour for the Skyhawk, and $88/hour
for the Cardinal. Flying time rates are based on tachometer time,
not
Hobbs time. Tach time typically gives 20%-30% more flying time for
the
dollar.
