Realize, I felt the same way about the post I responded to. Guess is
the poster knows that 10 of the 19 Democratic Senators up for
reelection are in states where Bush 43 won in 00. Two states (Florida,
Nevada) one precinct would have been the margin, three Republicans are
in states that Gore won in 00. Retaining Cheney as VP gets you
Wyomings 3 votes and no visible candidate for 08, not really wise
(remember Quayle?). The backfilling on the WMD is starting. The
leading Democrats seems to be bound to win the nomination and lose,
lose, lose the election, except the economy needs to get past a stock
market rise and into reemployment for any kind of boost for Bush.
