I think they were in the Far East, and they enjoyed limited success in Europe as Intruders.

They were used as nightfighters in company with Havocs with a large
search-light in the nose. Interesting nightflying ;-)
A stop-gap until enough radar-equipped Beaufighters and Mosquitos were
available.

I'm aware of the Turbinlite program, however I'd always thought it involved
..303 armed Hurricanes, painted as in the model.

A few Mk IIc's were used as nightfighters, and were painted black at least
on the upper side - not sure about the lower side, but a lot of planes were
all over black.

This model is a Mk IIc so the paint should be correct.
