looking for a project

Hi all,

I'm taking a break from the corporate world and want to make something.

I'm looking for suggestions that could make your aviation life easier.

Is there a electronic gadget or widget that would make your flying or
airplane experience better?


Something for the panel or a stand alone box or something?

There are a lot of avionics, etc out there, but nothing for a reasonable
price. I could double the price of my Skyhawk putting in a G1000, but I
would never get it back. I still think weather in the cockpit for a good
price is needed. I think the 496 seems to be the closest we have. I do
not have one, so others may have a different opinion.

A fire-resistant Nomex and deerskin flying glove with a
selection of LED lights on the backs of the fingers, so you
can illuminate switches and papers in dark places. A means
to select red or white LED with a touchpad the thumb can
reach and a 2032 battery on the back of the hand.
