Mike,
A little bit of both.
I do transponder/altimeter certifications and have an encoder test box
I'm designing up and want to know if it will be compatible with the
Terra. If not I will need to make an adapter to go between the two.
This will help me adjust them when not connected to the transponder.

It is the same as an AmeriKing AK-350 and Narco AR850
