View Full Version : WarPac War Plans-any conventional?

After the walls came down in '89 and Eastern Europe opened up their archives,
have any other WARPAC war plans come out? Say, any from the 1970s or 80s,
when Ivan thought they could win a conventional war in Europe? Looking at
those would be very eye-opening.

I believe if you go to the "collections" page you will find sime info on at
least a 1964 WARPACT OPLAN. Haven't done much looking at the site (a joint
effort of GWU and some international security studies organization out of
Geneva) myself, but plan to...
