Now that the advanced trainer is flying, will there be a light strike
fighter conversion in the future?

Doesn't the East still want such an aircraft?

First flight of the M-346 is scheduled for April of this year. The aircraft
design has provisions for adding 9 hard points for a future light strike
variant.
