Apache crews sharpen gunfighting skills

RODRIGUEZ RANGE, South Korea — “Gunfighters” from the 2nd Infantry
Division’s 1st Battalion 2nd Aviation Regiment are peppering the
Korean Training Area’s Rodriguez Range with bullets and missiles
during gunnery training this week.

Sixteen Apache crews, who call each other the “gunfighters” and have
adopted the cartoon character Yosemite Sam as their mascot, are
qualifying in Table 8 gunnery skills in an exercise...
