View Full Version : Rasimus in the news

Our own Ed Rasimus is featured on the front page of the Life section of
today's Colorado Springs Gazette. In an article titled "Pilot Project" Ed
gets interviewed about his book "When Thunder Rolled" and some of his
thoughts on his tours in Southeast Asia. Wonder why it took then so long
but it is a nice article.

Any possibility of scanning the entire article and sharing it with
fellow RAMers?
Tnx!

It looks to be a virtual blowjob. I know these squids think it is friendly
behavior, but USAF gets home to momma often enough to find such sailor
behavior less apealing.

Yeah... rec.aviation.ifr is chock full of great stuff, punctuated with the
familiar Tarver spew like:

Yep, trolls aren't welcome at rai.
You of course Weiss, comming to usenet to be an unsufferable prick, as
recomended on the ALPA website, are welcome to think you have any affect on
me. I know you have a lot of stress, managing the systems we systems
engineers made for you. Or, you could just grow up.

It would be nice if people would change the subject line to start
with TARVER: if they're going to respond to him. Then I could
have a rule to filter out those posts.... Just a request....

I must have come in late on this one. I actually thought that's what Ed
meant in a post several days ago; thus the referent. Looks like I've
accidentally discovered something that might "stick" anyway :-)

Dudley doesn't hate Ed at all, so the "world" can rest in peace :-)
Ed used the reference recently in a humorous way that might have been
misunderstood . I thought he was referring to another meaning for the term.

killing people and ripping people off. Would you be that guy, or a

You should learn the difference between affect and effect or use some
simpler terminology befitting your education and background.

There's an unfortunate situation in progress that precludes my commenting on
this issue, but I can assure everyone on RAM that Ed and I are friends;
always have been friends; and will remain friends for the foreseeable
future. :-)

Yes, it is unfortunate for anyone who knows Dudley.
Unfortunately, some of Dudley's friends are also idiots and they tried to
undermine their own funding basis. Needless to say, they are now scrambling
to find money.

Is Tarver this stupid or does he just play stupid on USNET ?

When dealing with propaganda terminology one sometimes always speaks in
variable absolutes. This is not to be mistaken for an unbiased slant.

I reckon if you blocked both Tarver's posts and any posts mentioning Tarver,
the daily total would drop by at least a 1/4.
