I put the deposit down on my Zodiac XLi today, so it's officially been
ordered. Now I get to finalize the paint and interior designs, and wait for
delivery on or about June 2. Whee.

Yeah. I'm already at the "waiting impatiently" stage...

Hmmm, and according to legend the next happiest day will be when you sell
it.

Although I have no experience with this last situation, I find it hard to
believe that happiness is the universal emotion on the side of the seller.
Probably it is dependent if a new or better plane is in the wings (no pun
intended) for you, or if you're finished being an owner for the foreseeable
future.

In the latter's case, it has to feel like putting your pet down.

Once you take delivery, we want PICTURES!
Congratulations! Owning my own plane is something I can only aspire to
at present.

Betcherass.
I do have a picture of my paint/graphcs design on my LiveJournal.

Stick to it. It took me 20 years between wanting and owning.
