Trial Of Woman Accused Of Killing Military Husband Postponed

(EXCERPT) Extra Time Allows Specialist To Examine Computer Files

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The trial of a Fayetteville woman accused of
killing her Air Force Captain husband is being moved from March 1 to
Sept. 6.

The new trial date will allow a computer specialist to examine
thousands of files found on Michelle Theer's computers. Her lawyers
had sought to block the probe. The files allegedly include 40 eBay
searches for body bags.

Theer faces charges of killing her husband, Air Force Capt. Marty
Theer, on Dec. 17, 2000. Theer died after being shot outside his
wife's office building.

A military jury already has convicted Theer's lover, former Army Sgt.
