Back in the early days preparing for going to the Moon NASA invited
some Navaho Nation natives to see the preparations. One of the Navaho
Chiefs asked if they could send a plaque to the Moon. Officials though
about this for a time and then said it would be okay if they provided two
plaques, one for the Moon and one for the Smithsonian. Both agreed to do
this and the plaque was taken to the Moon. Recently on a visit to the
Smithsonian one of the WWII code talkers read the message on the plaque and
started laughing. The tour guide asked what was so funny. He translated,
"Watch out for these NASA ---holes! They come to steal your land". ;-)

This joke only works if one is familiar with the code talkers. The code
talkers were effective because their language was not written.

Be thankful you weren't chastised because you had never been to the Moon or
Mars and therefore couldn't post a valid point!
