Every 6 months we were supposed to have a 'shoot' so we got a pilot of fly a
jet and he pulled a 'sleeve' on a 5 mile cable (so they told us) and we
would lock on the 'sleeve' and tell the pilot to turn, then fire the missle
at the 'sleeve'. I always was glad I wasn't that pilot. That missle's
guidance system was composed of vacuum tubes, resistor, capacators, etc. and
it was designed to be blown up (and on low bid).

Oh yeah, HAWK is the system that Ollie North tried to sell to the Ayatollah.
No doubt it was updated.
