I see from the BBC that the Navy lost a Merlin at Culdrose today:

Depending on the reasons for the crash this could have far reaching
consequences for the EH101/US101 exports..

And we will be waiting. The VXX decision has just been shunted from
May '04 until next year to allow more time for bid detailing (which
puts it just past the Presidential elections as well - probably a good
thing).
