There are several good books around . I read one a few years ago
called Viper about an F-16 pilot in the Gulf war (first one).
Another great book was IIRC "Danger" or something like that. It was a
compilation of many accounts from Approach magazine.
There was another such book made by the company that publishes World
Air Power with accounts from pilots that flew in the first gulf war.
It describes in the first tense how the F-111, F-15, F-16, F-14,
Cobra, Tornado and others were employed. Good, altough some of the
writters are better profesional pilots than writers.
Also, in internet there are several good accounts about rides in high
performance planes for those of us that were never lucky enough to do
it for real.
