I am currently working with an Aussie, a Canadian, and a Brit friend to knock
out YAMB ("Yet Another Mosquito Book") and so far we have gathered over 200
photos of the DH-98, plus assembled comprehensive captions for nearly all of
them. Unfortunately, only 9 of them are of nightfighter variants, so we are
sorely lacking in that area.
I have a special request for each reader - most of us encounter a wide variety
of aircraft and many of us have photos taken along the way. If you have taken
or collected Mosquito photographs over the years or know someone that might,
please consider allowing us to include them in the "Mosquitopedia". The
publisher has already shot down any idea of using high res scans (so much for
the 400+ scans we've coIlected!) so I need to concentrate on hardcopy
photographs - but copies work just fine; originals are not necessary but all
photos are ultimately destined for the Mosquito Aircrew Association in the UK.
I'll pay for postage both ways and promise a quick return of your photographs,
and I will of course include proper copyright information and credit for the
loaner. Please consider my request.
