Although I bought the book shortly after it was published (and had Ed autograph
it), I just got around to reading it. Outstanding read. I don't know why it
took me so long to get started on it, but it sure was hard to put down.

Since I finished my current book last night I think I'll follow your
sage wisdom and pick Rolling Thunder - unautographed :-( - off the
shelf for my next read. Thanks

I totally agree. Having read so much about it on this newsgroup, I finally
ordered it and received it two weeks ago. My copy may not be autographed but
that didn't prevent me from really enjoying the read. It certainly won't
take me so long to purchase the sequel when it's published.

Please note the title: "When Thunder Rolled". If folks go looking for
"Rolling Thunder" they'll find out about a motorcycle club.
Stand by for "Phantom Flights, Bangkok Nights" coming from Smithsonian
Press in February of 2005.

Oops... sorry about that. I realized I'd screwed it up earlier but it was too
late. Anyway, I enjoyed the hell out of it and look forward to your next book
about your second tour.

Maybe you should put in your order right now for the sequel. Then by
the time you get around to read it, it will actually be published and
waiting for you :)
