No, we'd be *justified* in beheading a few of the international jihadists. The
problem here is that if we so much as smudge the honor of a Muslim, we get
crucified, while Jihadists get a free pass on absolutely any type of murderous
behavior. Justified? No - but why should we be treated as barbarians when our
enemies torture and murder our people at will, and we respond with panties on
their heads?? That's why I am convinced that the "war on terror" will
eventually escalate into a last crusade, that will not end before some lunatic
in the White House or in Sudan decides to "kill em all", taking a lot of us
with them.

That might very well be true. But, if we are better than "Them", as
so many seem to be asserting, then we have to *BE* better than "Them";
no matter what "They" do...
Strange and illogical, but part of our responsibility if we try to
represent ourselve as having a higher moral code...

Frankly, our industrial base needs to get off its ass and invent a
technology
to replace fossil fuels with something else. Once we are no longer
dependent
on oil, the sand dwellers will go back to their tents and the money will
disappear.
Let em go back to the 10th century where they belong.
