Google Earth viewer

I can't find it now, but there was an add in for Google Earth on here last
month that would replay an IGC file; it was so real to watch the tow from
our gliderport, just like a regular video.

Does anyone have the link?

I did go to the link and downloaded the IGCconv for Window. However,
the subdirectory 'today' is empty, so I cannot call the script
'igcconv', that is supposed to be in there. Can any one walk me - a
computer techno-tard - through the process?

You want to download and install the "Flight replay" tool, not the
converter.
You also need to have Google Earth installed first.

thanks. Did that. Now I am getting a '.NET Framework Initialization
Error'. The text box reads: To run this application, you must first
install one of the following versions of the .NET Framework: v.
2.0.50727. Contact your application publisher for instructionsabout
obtaining the appropriate version of the .NET Framework.
Any suggestions?

Never mind - found it. It is a Microsoft application that I downloaded
and installed.

You need to install Microsoft .Net Framework. You can download it at
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=aea55f2f-07b5-4a8c-8a44-b4e1b196d5c0&displaylang=en.
This should include the Framework and Service packs 1 and 2. It's a 37
Mb file.

If you you are using Vista it is already installed. If not go to
http://ywtw.de/igcsimen.html
and you will find the download for it there.
