No surprise. The US feel far ahead of everyone, but in the facts, they have
nothing so special. In weaponry, the Russians are doing quite well. This is
why the US could not invade them for having WMDs. They know that they would
not be able to.

Yes it is - it'll get the perfect knee-jerk reaction to guarantee the F-22 and
JSF get funded.

Yep- great headline- akin to "World All Star Team Barely Misses Tying Game
Against JUCO JV."
"Bwa," as it were, "HaHaHa!"

Hmmm -- I wonder if the USAF deliberately did badly?

Gee, I wonder. "US kicks the crap out of top of the line SU-30 fighters
with old F-15s"....that headline would KILL the F-22.

Uh, yes, "they" do - both in quality and quantity. Why is it that the most
militarily inept Canadians keep posting in this group?

Yes, quite well. Right.

Uh ... Russia is on the UN Security Council and is a long-standing nuclear
power. There's been no thought of "invading" them.

I don't know how you arrived at the conclusion that someone was going to
invade Russia anyway... Russia has excellent military hardware, the
only problem with it is that they do not have the funding necessary to
keep it in good condition, the best example of this is their navy.
However, for countries that do have the money to maintain their hardware
Russian equipment is cheap to buy and quite good in comparison to
western technology.
