The latest search for the CF105 AVRO Arrow test models ended in failure
according to news reports. At the time these tests were carried out, Canada
did not have a supersonic wind tunnel so test models of Arrow were mounted
on rockets and fired across Lake Ontario. Interested groups are anxious to
recover these test models since the original aircraft were sadly destroyed
by what some think of as a criminal government decision. If not criminal,
