Qatars next fighter

Hi All

Theres speculation that Qatar is looking to replace its Mirage 2000-5
with something else, they hope to sell the Mirages to India.

Gripen
Eurofighter
F16's have been mentioned.


What about the Rafale?.

Does anyone have any other details?

The Qataris are selling the M2K's at US insistence, as USAF doesn't want
French technicians crawling arounf Al Udied. USAF will also look after
Qatari air defence, so it's unlikely the M2K's will be replaced.
