Repairing Plastic Instrument Panel Overlay by
Jeff P
I recently saw an article in KitPlanes or maybe Sport Pilot about how
to repair / rebuild a plastic instrument panel overlay. Whichever mag
I saw it
in, I've managed to throw away. Anyone know what issue this was?
Could you email me a copy?
Thanks for the help.

Partnership set up by

I've been studying AOPA's sample copy of a co-ownership agreement and have a
couple questions to those who are involved in co-ownerships.
How do you treat the one time initial expenses of buying an airplane, such
as pre-purchase inspections and needed repairs, sales taxes, acquisition
costs, legal...

Audio Panel Recommendations by
Jay Honeck
My Narco audio panel works just fine. However, the faceplate has been glued
back together twice by my avionics shop. (How it got broken in the first
place is anyone's guess...)
In the recent intense cold, the epoxy has let go again, so I think it's time
to replace the unit. Other than requiring...

PA-12 Super Cruiser - Speed on Final by
Thomas Ploch
Hi
I am hoping there are some PA-12 pilots out there. I was wondering what
speed you use on final. I did all of my private in the PA-12 and was
taught to be at 75 mph on final but I can't find any specific reference
to the speed.
Thanks.

Garmin 340 Audio Panel Split Com by
O. Sami Saydjari
Does anyone out there have experience with Garmin's 340 audio panel and
its feature that lets you split the Com 1 and Com 2 so that the pilot
can talk/receive on one while the co-pilot can talk and receive on a
separate frequency on another? It is called the "Com 1/2" button.
On my installation,...

Multifunction display database updates by
Charles Talleyrand
I'm confused about how GPS units get updated databases. A panel might
have a GPS unit feeding into a multifunction display MX-20 or
Avidyne or something. Does one need to update both the
GPS and the MFD's databases to stay current? Doesn't this get
expensive and annoying?
Also, must one input...
