BergFalke II/55 part. by
Bruce Greeff
We are refurbishing a Bergfalke II/55.
Somewhere in the process the part that connects the control rod from the rear
stick to the elevator and aileron pushrods has been lost.
We have a BergFalke III part as a pattern, but would prefer not to have to
reverse engineer that way.
Does anyone have a...

Mifflin - just a reminder about a great place to fly *anytime* by
Bob Lepp
Just got back from a week at Mifflin PA. What a kickstart to the
season! A half dozen Canadians were there, and a large group from the
Greater Boston Soaring Club. We all discussed having mixed feelings
about reminding you here in RAS that you all can fly *ANY* time at
Mifflin, since the busier it...

Cambridge Aero Explorer by
Roy Bourgeois
I am using an old version of CAE to view flights from
my 302/Compaq 1500. Yesterday (first flight this year)
all flight data was correct in the 1500 card but upon
transfer and display in CAE it shows the flight as
May 8 1994 - not 2004. No such problem last year.
Is this fixable? - or do I just...

Garmin Rino by
Martin Hellman
With all the talk about anti-collision devices, I've been seriously
looking at the Garmin Rino family (110, 120 and 130). These have been
mentioned a few times on RAS, but no one reported any experience using
them. Anyone out there use them? If so, I'd be interested in hearing
your experience and...

14 Volt Gel Cell? by
Joe Allbritten
Does anyone know where I can purchase a 14 Volt gel cell battery. I
know I can wire 2 or more in series to get 14Volt,(12 + 2 or 6 + 8
etc..) but I thought someone might know where you can purchase a
single 14V battery.
Thanks in advance.

Would anyone recommend an instrument repair facility
in the United States? I have an altimeter that requires
some TLC. One place I've been told about is 'Century

I would like to find the female end for the standard speaker mic plug on
most hand held radios. We want to make an extension to reach the back seat

Water dump valve rotary seal by
Bill Daniels
My Nimbus 2C has a rotating shaft that passes through the root rib into the
integral wing tank. This shaft operates the dump valve. This shaft has
about 1mm radial play and appears to be leaking water at a slow rate. I
detect no axial play. I find that the closing spring can be gently...

Astir Elevator by
JD
Hello All,
Now that winter is approaching its time to get back into the workshop.
I fly an Astir CS (G102) and the elevator has a wavy skin. I note that
several Astir's seem to suffer the same problem. Does anyone have any astir
parts and elevators lying around that I might use.
I am...
