Air brake won’t lock by
[email protected]
My Ventus airbrake doesn’t always stay closed during the roll out on tow. Now our grass runway is hard and ruff and causes a lot of bouncing around but over the last few years the brake come on if I don’t lean my hand against it. Is there any adjustments or could something have broke? I can’t...

Wow! That's pretty cool. Amazing how inherently simple turbojets are.

Jacopo Romei
Hello everybody!
I just created a page dedicated to the Rolladen-Schneider LS7 WL on gliderreview.com along with its 2016 OLC stats.
If you ever flew or even owned an LS7 (WL or not), I'd be glad to get your star rating about these...

Pre Pan-American and 2018 Canadian National Gliding Competition by
Roy B.
I've done four Canadian Nationals now and paid the Transport Canada fee each time. It's not really very difficult (they take credit cards over the phone) and it's easier than complying with the requirements of some other countries (France made me get a full medical exam for example). This is all...

Stall spin during aero tow? Std cirrus by
[email protected]
Have there been stall spins during an aero tow?
Today, I had a very scary aero retrieve. From being towed to fast to-to slow. Anyways the scaries part was when, the tow plane started to climb and to slow. The indicated speed on the glider was 50 knots and decreasing. The glider kept slowing down...

2019 US Nationals by
[email protected]
Attention US contest pilots(Canadians are part of the group).
The 2019 15 meter nationals has been rescheduled to be held at Bermuda High from May 7- 15. This change spreads the schedule and allows pilots with 15/18 gliders to consider flying both. Hobbs will still hold 18 and Open as originally...

Canopy opening in flight by
Tom[_21_]
Anyone know of an occurrence of a forward hinged canopy that opening in flight? Any possibility of this happening if the forward hinged canopy was unlocked on a flight?
Thanks Tom

Rudder system failure by
Nick Kennedy
After the Arcus rudder failure in Nephi this summer, and the Early JS1 rudder failure in Moriarty, both resulting in bailouts; I've been wondering.....
In a 15 meter ship like a ASW 20 or LS3a or ASW27, does a hard over rudder failure mean its bailout time, or is it possible to "catch" the ensuing...

Nano 4 vs Colibri X ? by
Jonathan St. Cloud
Has anyone had the opportunity to play or fly with both? Wondering about the pro's and con's of each. Both same price, any features that would set one apart from the other?

Pegase cruise speeds by
Mark Williams
I have a share in a Peg 90. I feel that over 65/70kt the LD really drops off, though, I don't have evidence for this and hope it's higher :) What do others think?

Cockpit Size and Comfort by
Mike Rinaldi
I am looking to purchase a new (to me) XC ship. Which ones have the largest/roomiest cockpit? Not for a tall person, one with broad shoulders, about 5'9 and 200lbs. Discuss and Thank you in advance!

PowerFlarm range tool by
[email protected]
Hello everyone. I just upgraded my PowerFlarm firmware from 6.42 to version 6.60 this past weekend. After flying I uploaded my .igc file to the PowerFlarm Range Tool to see if anything had changed for the better or worse. Interestingly, the 6.60 generated log file shows zero FLARM data points of...
