Komet Trailer Suspension Parts by
Randy[_2_]
A friend of mine is in need of some replacement parts for his
1984 Komet Trailer. During the drive home in a dark and heavy
rain storm in central Oklahoma, he had a tire separation on the
top side of the tire that caused damaged to fiberglass top, broke
the locks on both ends of the trailer.

SN10 Xmas wishlist (long) by
kirk.stant
For Santa Dave, here is my SN10 Xmas wishlist:
1. Ability to save and recall multiple tasks (2 or 3 at least).
Since the US allows retasking in the air with the emphasis on
previously set backup tasks, this would be a huge safety enhancement.
Anyone who has tried to setup a new AAT task in his...

Beating humidity by
Andy[_10_]
Last year for the first time since I bought my gilder I discovered
what cold, humid, Northern California winter air can do to the
untreated steel parts on my glider. This year I was determined to
keep corrosion at bay and bought a dehumidifier to put in the
trailer. I also bought one of those...

People Magazine page 7 DG-1000??? by
Scott Alexander[_2_]
I just found the latest copy of People magazine in a seatback pocket
on my flight. When I started flipping through the pages during my
break, I found an interesting advertisement on page 7.
I wish I could post the picture on here, but apparently images can't
be uploaded.
Looks like Chrome Azzaro...

Oudie Pilot Reports? by
AY
Would any Oudie users care to comment on their flying experiences with
the Oudie? Particularly cockpit readability, unit dependability and
ease of use, or any other pro's or con's you might care to comment on.
Thanks!

Forum Deficiencies in rec.aviation.soaring by
Gary Osoba[_3_]
This forum is great for general discussion, opinions on nearly
everything germane to it's topic and otherwise (unfortunately), and
various other uses.
However, it does not allow for any presentation of attachments,
graphics, or other useful information. I am likely in a small
minority, but when I...

Aero 1530 help by
Andy[_1_]
I need some help with the the Aero 1530 (CE 2.11). A bit strange for
me I know since I'm the one usually giving help with this PDA. I'm
guessing many of the folks that still use this ancient device are
sailplane pilots, hence the post here.
I'm stuck with a corrupted contacts file. It displays...

If the conversion...

TT21 operation with no ICAO address by
Andy[_1_]
I'm moving this to a new thread since it has nothing to do with the
requirement for altimeter TSO.
I asked what happened if a mode S transponder was installed without an
ICAO address. That was a sort of tongue in cheek reaction to the idea
that someone would not want their tail number broadcast...
