Sailplane wing covers by
Bob Greenblatt
We need to replace our covers for our G 103s tied down outside in north east
US. What experience have you had with purchased covers? Jaxida? Others? Has
anyone had custom ones made by a boat cover or awning maker? How long have
they lasted? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

So do Boeing 787's need wing sand, wax, buff, reprofile, refinish? by
Stewart Kissel
I am intrigued by the construction of the Dreamliner...carbon
fiber makes it's way to commercial aircraft. This
got me wondering about the construction techniques
of glider wings vs how Boeing does it. Will the 787
have spar bumps after a few years? Are the wings pulled
out of molds? Do they...

Anything on the practice days at Hobbs? Looking at the SSA site, there
is nothing. The most recent pilot list from May 12 only shows 19
entries....anything more recent than that?

The Un-Sung Hero of Parawan by
[email protected]
OK, so un-sung hero may be a bit strong, but I thought Tom Kelly did

Although I might have missed the cudos he was given during the awards
dinner, I don't recall anyone singling him out.
The low stress, (as low stress as a contest...
