How to clear CAI 302 flight log memory? by
Frank[_1_]
Some time ago, I was able to fix a friend's problem with a CAI 302 by
clearing out the flight log memory. The procedure involved connecting
to the CAI 302 with a comm program like hyperterm and typing in
something like 'RESET' at the command prompt. I have gotten a couple
of similar requests here...

Airspeed Indicator problems by
[email protected]
The original Schweizer airspeed indicator in my glider sticks.
Once on the ground I blew into the pitot and the indicator shows an
airspeed but then it takes 10 seconds to slowly go back down to 0.
On the back of the instrument there are 2 vertical ports.
I disconnected and blew through the top...

Diana 2 Observations by
Steve Leonard
One thing that you should be careful of is comparing
the Diana with the Diana 2 as far as wing location.
The leading edge at the wing root was moved forward
from the Diana to the Diana 2. This was most likely
due to the overall shift in the wing planform. On
the Diana, the leading edge is more...

Micro Air transmission-garbled by
[email protected]
We installed a new Micro Air in a sailplane. This is the 5th one we
have installed. All have worked great except this last one receives
perfectly, but when transmitting it sounds garbled. The boom mic is a
Micro Air. Anyone have an idea what this could be?
Thanks
Kurt

New Records in Arizona by
Mike the Strike
Yesterday, Steve Koerner in his ASW-27B completed an FAI 500 km
triangle in northern Arizona at just over 90 mph to claim a new US
record .
This adds to two World records recently claimed by Mike Parker in his
PW-5 in south-eastern Arizona.
Flight logs of all files are on OLC.
