Flight to Las Vegas Pirep -- Part I by Jay Honeck
Our idea was simple: Spend a cheap week with the kids somewhere warm. None of us really cared where we went -- we just wanted some sunshine and a swimming pool. Somewhere along the way, our good friends Jim & Tami Burns *also* came to the realization that winter in the Upper Midwest grows...

Inertial reel shoulder harness - retro fit? by Casey Wilson
Hi all, I'm shopping for an inertial reel shoulder harness for a 1976 C-172M. I've been to the B.A.S., Inc. site and seen their product line. Are there any others? Any comments about switching out the old shoulder strap (fixed w/adjustable buckle) for the inertial reel?

Letting my Flying Subscription Expire by Kyle Boatright
My last issue of Flying came in the mail today, and I won't be re-upping the subscription. In recent years, I've grown more and more reluctant to renew it, but when it came to crunch time, I went ahead and mailed in my $12.00 or whatever. Not this year, though. In all honesty, I don't remember...

9/11 Truth Coverage ... Charlie Sheen on CNN Live Tonight, and New York Magazine by Robert M. Gary
From "Team America" Alec Baldwin: By following the rules of the Film Actor's Guild, the world can become a better place; that handles dangerous people with talk, and reasoning; that, is the fag way. One day you'll all look at the world us actors created and say, "wow, good going, fag. You...

You can't possibly be suggesting that this theory has merit because Charlie Sheen likes it can you? Oh God, I'm going to fall out of my chair laughing!!!! -Robert

9/11 Truth Coverage ... Charlie Sheen on CNN Live Tonight, and New York Magazine by Robert M. Gary
Its sure is good to know that we are finally getting solid answers from those that have actually played scientists before. This makes me want to watch the movie "Team America" again. At least they understand the role of actors in politics. -Robert

It was the guage! by Dave
After the problem stopped being intermittent, and the failure sayed with is for a while, we got a chance to nail this down, with an extra tank sending unit to test it with.. Surprising enough, when the guage failed, the resistance was still about the same as when it was working normally. I...

And now for something fun by AJ
I stumbled onto a webpage devoted to movie cliches. Of course, the best section is called "Airplanes." My favorite cliche: "When a plane is low on fuel, the hero usually taps the gas guage as if that will help. Example....Top Gun, Tom Cruise tapping the gas gauge of a $60 millon F-14 Tomcat like...

9/11 Truth Coverage ... Charlie Sheen on CNN Live Tonight, and N by Skylune
Charlie's inane ramblings are now viewable on the CNN.com website. This guy is truly stupid. He says when he watched the second plane hit the tower "he had a feeling" that it just didn't look like any commercial jet he had ever seen. He also said it looked like a controlled demolition. In...
