GX50 datacard by
Jimmy B.
I have an Apollo (now Garmin AT) GX50 GPS. The data card failed last
week. It will not take a program. I use Jeppesen's skybbound service
for updates.
Now, the card is a Linear 4 Mb Flash Disk.
Garmin wants $153 for a replacement card but these cards can be bought
anywhere for $60.
Does anyone...

What a day by
Mortimer Schnerd, RN
My father had agreed to donate his station wagon to me as I wanted something to
serve as a Lowesmobile. The problem was he lives about 250 miles from me on the
Atlantic coast. A friend of mine offered to drive the car back for me. "I
know", I said, "let's fly down and you can drive back". Well,...

Help Landing a Diamond DA-20 by
[email protected]
I'm a new student learning with a DA-20. Got most things mastered
except for the landings...most important, no? haha
Seems that most of my landings and I have only tried 9 times thus far
are not very well executed. My CFI sez that I am doing two things
wrong:
1) I am flaring too late.
2) When I...

new website by
[email protected]
I have created a new website for aviation enthusiasts, and would like
to know if I could get some feedback on it.
It is www.anything-aircraft.com and it has free photo classifieds, free
forum, free calendar of events that can be added to, and much more.
If anyone can give some suggestions that...

If you haven't been there in a while, there are a lot of new videos,
sent in to me by pilots from all over the world. Many are educational,
others...

The crash caused extensive damage to the Nedco...

What has NASA done for you? by
BobGoFish
*NASA or NAACP? *
There is controversy as to whether or not space exploration is worthy of
federal (tax payer) funding. Space exploration has helped to create many
medical advances among other more common household products that we take
for granted. Project...

Pilot Stories by
Frank
Hey, I've enjoyed reading this group for the past few months,
especially the posts where people talk about recent flights they've
taken. I created a website where people can post these kinds of stories
for others to read, www.pilotreports.net. The purpose of this website
is for there to be a...

Rental Hull Insurance - for a week or just for a day? by
Ekim
So maybe this was asked before, but I looked and couldn't find an
answer...
Say you're on vacation somewhere in the continental US and you want to
rent a Skyhawk for a day. Assuming you don't need a renter's policy for
the rest of the year, is there a place you can get rental insurance for
just...
