Wright model B crash on Nova by
Corky Scott
Finally got to see this program over Thanksgiving. Very interesting
but I don't understand what happened.
The assembly went very well and the engine was installed and run and
everyone was ready for the first flight when it started raining. It

The A300 hit in Baghdad by
Jay Honeck
Over on the binary channel (alt.binaries.pictures.aviation) someone has
posted three amazing pictures of the A300 that was apparently hit by a SAM
while landing at Baghdad. One in flight picture shows the port wing in
flames.
Remarkable that they were able to get that thing on the ground...

Another Garmin 430 question by
Jim
I've been told that it is possible to load successive approaches in the
flight plan page but have been un able to either figure out how to do it or
find any info in the manual about it. For instance if I wanted to create a
flight plan to take off at one airport, fly to a second airport then...

Instrument PIC logging for the experts by
Koopas Ly
The pilot in the left seat has his PPL, no instrument rating, and is
practicing flying under the hood. His buddy is in the right seat, PPL
+ instrument rating.
The left seat pilot is the sole manipulator of the controls, so he
logs PIC. The safety pilot in the right seat was designated as...

aero-bowling would you like to give it a try? by
Gilan
If you like bowling then you may like to try aero-bowling. We are adding a
new event to our annual Fly-in.
Along with our usual events such as dead stick landing and bomb drop we are
having aero-bowling this year. I have watched some folks try it and it is
very challenging as well as funny to see...

AmeriFlight Crash by
C J Campbell
Is it just me, or does AmeriFlight seem to lose an awful lot of airplanes? I
know 1999 was a bad year, but they appear to lose at least one plane every
year.

For you to find this story funny you need to be aware the reputation that

that might be interesting to watch on aviation matters and stopped at the
