The Mustang Suite is done! by
Jay Honeck
***CAUTION -- SHAMELESS PLUG WARNING ***
I've been promising this one for six months -- and we have finally finished
the Mustang Suite!
We took our most popular suite (it's popular because it's our smallest,
cheapest Jacuzzi suite) and loaded it up with new wall paper border,
carpeting, window...

Skyranger? by
sue sanchez
Anyone have comments or experiences with this French-kit aircraft?
"http://www.skyranger.net/page28.html" (English language page)
"http://www.greenlandings.com/index.html" (apparently US distributor)
Inexpensive and claimed build-time is short. No welding.
I'm especially interested because I...

Wright bros. - True distance by
Steve Beaver
While pondering the fact that 57 seconds is a long time to go 850 ft (best
and third flight on Dec 17th) it occured to me that it was very windy at the
time.
I believe the bros. reported in the telegram home to dad that it was 21 mph.
850 ft in 57 seconds is 894 ft per minute or about 10 mph. Add...

lightweight helmet by
Joa
Can anyone recommend a very lightweight helmet that has built in ANR
or that can be retrofitted with it? Something similar to the light
skiing helmets folks are wearing or perhaps something like a hockey
type of helmet (paint it black and look Delta).
Thanks.
Joa

Carb Temperature Gauge by
fly_the_skies
Recently while poking around Westach's website (www.westach.com) I noticed
they sell a carburetor temperature gauge (2C3-1) to monitor whether your
carb air is in the range to cause carb icing. The gauge requires a sender
unit (399W) for the carburetor. I sent an e-mail to Westach asking if...

Dittel ATR 720B by
Tony
Does anyone have a manual for a Dittel ATR 720B radio?
I'm having trouble programming the presets and am not sure whether the
"enter" button has a fault or whether I am simply doing something wrong.
I did note that newer Dittel radios can not be programmed unless their
voltage is at a certain...
