Q about mic wiring by
ken ward
I see that for my Peiker dynamic mic, the red wire typically connects to
the MIC pin of the radio, and the yellow wire (with or without the
braided shield) typically connects to the MIC GND of the radio.

SSA Web site status by
[email protected]
All,
The SSA web site is down for a short time. We are waiting for the
telephone company to restore our Internet circuit to the server.
There was a major storm here in Texas that took the circuit out at
about 10:00 PM (CDT) last night. We hope to be back up soon.

I have an LS4A glider that has developed a leak in
the left wing. The bags do not leak and I have had
the bags out of the wing and checked for the cause
but cannot come up with the answer. If anyone has

Radio repairer in UK by
[email protected]
Hi,
Does anyone know of a good radio repairer in the UK.
We have a COMM ATR 720 radio and it has a couple of problems
a) It has a combined microphone/loudspeaker. When the PTT is pressed a
howling (feeback like) sound is made and nothing is transmitted.
However, the receiver seems to work ok.
