Ask21 mi by
Cary Kennedy
Helping my flying mate who just bought a used k21 mi less than 200 hours. Wankel motor worked fine on first two launches. Third launch low rpm pre mature landing. Voltage is good, fuel at the injector is good. Motor will not start. Just pops and backfires. Any wankel wizards out there?

Truck vs Car as a tow vehicle by
kenward1000
My 98 GMC Suburban SLT (Special Luxury Touring) equipped with the factory tow package has been a solid tow vehicle, even when towing my LAK12 trailer. Lot's of room for tools and parts, can be slept in if needed.
SLTs are known affectionately as SLuTs, because they will tow anything.

Free Condor photo-realistic scenery for your Club by
jmurtari
Folks,
A lot of folks use Condor 2, though it doesn't catch on for local training if your landscape is Slovenia....
We have a group of people trying to change that, volunteers, no gimmicks. We've been able to automate much of the process and are happy to create a scenery for your local Club.
You...

Gliding Club Experiences by
[email protected]
Hello Gliders,
I wanted to make this post to see other pilots experiences at their local gliding clubs. My experience at my local gliding club is so-so, speaking as a young soon to be solo pilot, because of organisational management.
My friend and I have been quite frustrated due to extreme...

How does my 1918 German barograph work? (Replogle mechanical drum) by
Charles Gosse
I have a 1918 German barograph, photos are at the URL below. It appears complete but I do not know how to make it work. Apparently it has to be wound-up. I also have a photo of the underside of the metal tray, if you need to see that.

Promoting Soaring (Among Women) | Kudos MASA! by
[email protected]
Many of us were deeply disappointed with a recent post on RAS with respect to women. I felt it was very counterproductive to the goals and desires of many people to promote soaring.
Instead of engaging in that sad discussion, I reflected on some of my experiences surveying clubs in my region and...

Soaring Club Financials by
[email protected]
Haven't seen much discussion of this topic and I'm rather curious what the consensus is. I know of some clubs that did not open this year. Other clubs opened late and still others opened and just as quickly closed.
I'm curious what kind of shape that leaves the soaring community at large with to...
