DG1000T Solo 2350C Engine A.D. by
NG
Yet another A.D. prohibiting the use of the DG1000T engine in the United States kicked in on May 29th 2015. This is the 3rd failure resulting in a third A.D. prohibiting the use of the engine, due to repeated propeller departure (as in breaking off). The current A.D. mandates immediate propeller...

I need help in identifying a program used in Europe for post-flight processing of IGC competition files. The program may either be a stand-alone processor or it may be part of a scoring program. The forty -three processed IGC files I have were recorded during a competition in Germany at...

Cobra trailer seal replacement--any previous experience? by
John Duke
Am replacing the seal on the lower half of the trailer. The question is
about replacing the front seal. It appears that the clamshell top must
either be removed or lifted from the front (which involves removing the
bolts that hold the hinge/handles).
Anyone have experience with removing the top...

Ka-8b by
Ryan Wubben
After a long (12 year) absence, looking to get back into soaring, although
I've
been an active power pilot and have owned a variety of airplanes.
I used to own a Ka-6, but am thinking of a a Ka-8b that is coming up for
sale.
Any thoughts on the Ka-8?
Things to watch out for?
Difficulty rigging?

Sage 57mm vario $450 by
[email protected]
I have a Sage vario for sale, smaller 57mm version, $450 shipped CONUS. Vario with mounting screws only. I never used it, bought it from a friend who had it on a shelf for many years. Calibration sticker says 2002, I don't think it has been used since then. Not a scratch on it.

That's OK. The Glider Will Hold. by
[email protected]
Saw a cute photo on Facebook of a two-place motorglider with the prop spinning and the caption:
Control: "You're unreadable. Say again"
Motorglider: "I've turned off the engine. Is that better?"
Control:
Reminded me of a story my father told me way back when (1960s). A soaring buddy--Bill...
