I recently bought a Carat in a 2005 Cobra trailer and had it hauled from the west coast to here in Georgia on a flat bed. When i started pulling the trailer, the hubs started getting hot within 12 miles, the...

To the Folks who offer IGC Reader for the iphone/ipad by
[email protected]
There does not appear to be an email link within the app or on their web page so I'll give this a try...
Couple observations on your software...
#1 It really needs a way to adjust the playback speed. The default setting will play a 7 hour flight in just 30 seconds which is way too fast.

Had to Replace My Emergency Parachute by
Dan Marotta
The old girl (38 years) finally could not face muster. So, considering that
I fly in the high desert, a ram air chute seemed in order for its better
controllability, higher forward speed, and good landing characteristics.
I took a training jump today and I am hooked! Now I just need to find...

Randy Teel
I declared a task on my LX5000 and after I downloaded the flight to
my SeeYou program, I get File integrity: Unknown? and Declaration is
NOT VALID! I am not getting any Security Seal warning messages.
The declared task is displayed on SeeYou and when you go to OLC, it
shows that my IGC file is...

WGC News Embargo? by

You can find some news if you look hard enough. Does the SSA not
financially support the US Team at all? Regardless, I would think the
SSA would take a more proactive role in helping to showcasing the WGC,

WGC Open Class by
Richard Walters
The open class at Uvalde is the most interesting in the modern
glass era, post 1966. There are 5 new designs racing, the oldest
being the EB29 which first flew in 2009. The others are all new this
year- Concordia, Quintus, Antares 23, and JS1C. All five are in the
top seven places after 7 days....

Hello! I am relatively new to this group and I come seeking some advice with a peculiar problem (I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read this before-hand, as it is a bit of a tough nut!):
I'm a masters student doing work on Andean Condors in Argentina (mainly in San Carlos de...

Moving to Bend, OR by
BQ
I took my first glider flight a couple of months ago at Low Country Soaring in Ridgeland, SC. (Cool group of guys there!) The flight was really cool.. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't really justify making the investment in a membership because I'll be moving in about a month. I'm headed up...
