15 kg (5.44 - 6.80 lbs)."
The error is repeated by the drawing of the the gear mechanism.
(where, incidentally, the pivot for the gear leg is drawn on the wrong
side).
Either the values are...

Wave soaring camp at Kebnekaise, Sweden, had produced 18 diamonds up until
day before yesterday. Probably there will be a few more during the rest of
this week.

Type of glue by
jeplane
I need to glue a Schleicher tail skid on my ASW19.
1- What type of glue would you use?
2- Can the tail skid tape be the same as the wings tape?
Thanks for the comments

Windows Vista - ready for Soaring Laptops? by
chris
It is time to upgrade the old laptop, was wondering if Window Vista is
compatible with the soaring software/hardware.
So does the Edition of Vista matter? I think for my work needs
I will end up with the Business edition,
do these other versions cause any additional considerations?

Growth in soaring by
fred
A question often asked is "Why has the glider activity declined?" In
1975 we would make about 150 flights on a Sat & Sun. Nothing like that
now but we had our best year 2006 in a long time. The decline (I
believe) is the competition for disposable time Vegas is many times
larger, Indian Casinos...

High Winds Destroys a Glider by
ContestID67
Last weekend a spring storm ripped through our area with 70mph local
winds and reports of a nearby microburst that took off some roofs.
This event also torn our Schweizer 2-33 out of its tie down moorings,
cartwheeled it about 30 feet and wrapped it around a tree. The
fuselage was broken in two as...

[email protected]
I replaced mine with a 1000N spring from Eastern Sailplane. For some
reason Schleicher chose a part that must be restrained in a compressed
state before installation. I used a combination of methods collected
from various sources.
1) Before you remove the old spring use a felt tip marker to...
