I'm contemplating the purchase of a used Blanik L33 Solo, as an upgrade from
my 1-26E, and seeking advice concerning the type.

Clubs in Austria by
Chris Gadsby
hi,
is anyone aware of any gliding clubs in the Innsbruck area of Austria who might
be happy to take up a visitor?
I did a quick search on the internet and nothing obvious came up. On the other
hand I've never been before and my geography of the area is not that good.
Thanks

Tow Ropes by
[email protected]
We are trying to collect some information about tow ropes used
in the soaring community and the process people use deterime the
condition of the rope.
This is for aerowtow only. As an example the Tucson Soaring Club uses
a 2000 lb breaking strength rope with weak links on both ends.

US Centrair Pegasus group? by
jphoenix
Is there a US group/club/association, however loose, of Pegasus owners
out there somewhere? Reason for asking is the FAA is considering the
*possibility* of rulemaking regarding the 3000 hour life limit on the
aircraft and they're requesting input from interested parties prior to
the official...

$15 Regulator for Onboard PC by
Jim Vincent
Just found this website that makes fixed and adjustable switch mode
regulators in a three pin package. The fixed output 5V is $12 and the
adjustable is $15. These should do the trick for almost any onboard flight
computer.

Pawnee window frame by
cfinn
Does anyone have a source for windows frames for a Pawnee? The hinges
are a weak point. The point where the hinge is welded to the frame
develops cracks. I'm sure others have had the problem.
Thanks

El Tiro by
Pam Kurstjens
Can someboby please tell us whether we can get a launch
at El Tiro on weekdays, and maybe a phone number and
contact name? I have tried the number on the Tucson
Soaring Club website and left a voicemail. We could
be there in a day or two on our soaring safari.

Schweizer 2-32 by
stephanevdv
I'm coming to the USA in a few days (first trip to America). It's not a
soaring vacation, but I'd like to find the opportunity to put one more
sailplane type in my logbook. Where in the California/Nevada region
could I make a dual flight in a 2-32? Any...

Trailers by
Don Johnstone
If you are in the UK, or I suppose even if you are
not, I can recommend Shirenewton.
www.shirenewton.co.uk
They built a trailer for my ASW17 at a very competative
price and the quality is excellent. The trailer will
outlast the glider I suspect.
