LX 100 by Ian Cant
Does anyone happen to know how a LX 100 vario works, and what inputs it needs ? After a happy hour on my back with flashlight and mirror trying to decipher the plumbing, I think mine is connected only to 12V and two separate capacity bottles. That seems strange, but it works. Can anyone tell...

LX 1600 by Mark Jardini
Try as I may, I cannot find a way to adjust the deadband for either climb or cruise for this unit. Has anyone figured it out? The manual is singularly cryptic. I am running it with Fly with CE. Mark

LX 1600 and gps by Mark Jardini
Has anyone been successful hooking a GPS engine up with an LX 1600 through the port where a Colibri would go? That would be with the GPS engine spliced to an RJ6 flat cable. That port should supply 12v to the GPS antenna. I am so far utterly defeated, trying to use a Garmin 18 PC. Any tips or...

Good afternoon, I have a LX 5000 version 11.1. During my last 6 flights, I have been getting an invalid IGC file when I download to OLC. During the power up of the LX5000, I keep getting the following WARNING, SECRET KEY NOT VALID! PRESS ENTER TO QUIT! When I was in Moriarty last week, a couple...

Our LX 5000 is set up for electronic compensation. Checked and double checked. Right now, we are running at 250% compensation, in an effort to get some realistic output. This is not working accurately. Our TE Winter vario is working well but slower, as expected. Any insights/help would be...

LX 5000, 7000, 7007 users - TE tube vs Electronic compensation question by 2NO
I'd like to know if any long-timer user of these instruments has good data on the performance difference(s) between using the TE tube and the Electronic TE compensation, and if so, what you personally recommend. (I seem to recall that the Cambridge 302 had a similar setup option, and that the...

LX 7000 pro.igc by David Reilly
My LS 8 came with one of these. Since I've got some questions the manual does not seem to address...was wondering if someone who knows this unit might get back to me. In addition to some setup issues, it does not want to play nice with my OUDIE. I'm considering replacing it. But it does seem very...
